In this video, Berlin Lab Team member Corinne Rose discusses her projects Free Space Berlin and Make Space. The two projects both stem from Rose's desire to maximize the impact of small actions, to see whether new forms of thinking can be encouraged by involving citizens in cities' administrative decisions. Free Space Berlin centers on the Ligenschaftfonds policy, through which Berlin sells off publicly owned land to the highest bidder. Make Space invites participants to create gardens in the unused spaces in their neighborhoods.
