Where Is the Lab?
The BMW Guggenheim Lab is a mobile laboratory traveling to major cities worldwide. The Lab recently ended its run in Mumbai, where it was open from December 9, 2012 through January 20, 2013. The second stop on the Lab’s global tour was Berlin, where it was open from June 15 through July 29, 2012. The Lab launched in New York in the fall of 2011.
Major themes that emerged at the Lab in these three locations will be explored in an exhibition at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York City this fall. Further details on the exhibition will be announced in the coming months.
