Lab Team member Corinne Rose introduces the topic of the day: Aesthetic Experience of Art, Architecture, and Design. What is a beautiful city? Is it even possible to plan and design a city according to aesthetic criteria? Who gets to determine what those rules are? By questioning the ideals in today’s city life, we reconsider urban space and analyze what social, cultural, and unconscious forces are at play.

Lab-Mitglied Corinne Rose stellt das Thema des Tages vor: Ästhetisches Erleben von Kunst, Architektur und Design. Wie sieht eine schöne Stadt aus? Ist es sogar möglich, eine Stadt nach ästhetischen Kriterien zu planen und zu entwerfen? Wer bestimmt, wie diese Regeln aussehen? Indem wir die Ideale des modernen Stadtlebens hinterfragen, überdenken wir urbanen Raum neu und analysieren, welche sozialen, kulturellen und unbewussten Faktoren eine Rolle spielen.
