Today's topic: Tagesthema: Communication and Participation I Kommunikation & Partizipation I
Communication is the bedrock of any functioning community, yet in overcrowded cities it can be a challenge to establish meaningful interactions with others. We will consider the practical verbal and nonverbal elements and interpersonal skills required to create better communication, not only on a personal level, but also at the scale of the neighborhood and the city.
Kommunikation ist die Grundlage einer funktionierenden Gemeinschaft. In überbevölkerten Städten kann es jedoch schwierig sein, bedeutsame Interaktionen mit anderen aufzubauen. Wir werden uns die praktisch-verbalen und nonverbalen Elemente und zwischenmenschlichen Fähigkeiten ansehen, die für eine bessere Kommunikation notwendig sind – nicht nur auf persönlicher Ebene, sondern auch auf nachbarschaftlicher und gesamtstädtischer Ebene.

Berlin’s urban center is widely known for its attractions. But who really knows what's happening beyond the margins of the so-called "A-Zone," defined by the inner circle of the "S-Ringbahn"? By means of a bus excursion into the "grey-zone," explore the phenomenon of "urban sprawl" in Berlin's East Side.
Berlins Stadtkern ist für seine Attraktionen weltbekannt. Doch wer von den Zentrumsbewohnern weiß wirklich, wie das Leben in der Sphäre außerhalb der sogenannten „A-Zone“, die den Kreis der S-Ringbahn umfasst, aussieht?
