Known for their iPhone app that shares information about 9/11, their civic solutions campaign Change by Us, and the Memory Maps that gave New Yorkers the chance to share their stories, interactive design firm Local Projects has made a name for storytelling projects that deepen our everyday lives in cities around the U.S. Join principal Jake Barton for a workshop that dives into the algorithms necessary to analyze urban space and learn about their research for the game Urbanology at the BMW Guggenheim Lab, as well as their work for the World Trade Center Memorial.
